Stains Set by Heat - stains set by heat or other cleaning processes.
Dyes - To remove a dye (such as Kool Aid) you must use a product that may take the dye out of the carpet as well.

Step 1. Always pretest for colorfastness and fiber distortion in an inconspicuous area. Do not apply to color sensitive fibers, leather, satin, silk, suede, velvet, non-colorfast wool, or any fabric that can be damaged by water based solutions.

Step 2. Remove as much of the spilled material as possible prior to solution application. If particle or powder spill, dry vacuum up. If liquid spill, blot with colorfast, absorbent towel. If sticky material, use spotting spatula or dull knife to remove as much of the material as possible.

Step 3. Apply solution liberally to spot with flip top applicator. Agitate into spot with spotting spatula, tamp area with spotting brush, or blot spot with colorfast absorbent towel. Allow solution to dwell for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4. At a minimum, blot area with clean, white absorbent towel. For best results, extract area and rinse with water.

Step 5. For treatment of upholstery, apply Avenge to clean, white colorfast absorbent towel and blot.

Important: Other cleaning products may "set" a stain. By using Avenge first, you assure yourself of full stain removal. We cannot guarantee our effectiveness on stains which have been previously treated with another cleaning product.

Never mix Avenge with another cleaning product.

Shampooing Carpet/Upholstery: When shampooing use Avenge as a pre-spotter on tough or old stains and heavy traffic areas. Also add 1 oz of Avenge per gallon to solution tank with carpet shampoo as a cleaning booster.
Pre-spotter: Avenge is an excellent laundry pre-spray.
Carpet Stain Removal: After you have applied Avenge to a stain, put cloth over stain and stand on cloth to help the transfer process. Sometimes the added pressure from standing on the cloth helps the transfer process.
